	Dean Mallory Assistant Director Phone: 337-482-0633 Email: dmallory@louisiana.edu As Assistant Director, Mr. Mallory directs the activities of the CBIT staff to ensure the successful completion of various research and development projects leading to improved technologies and capabilities for educational and private sector communities. Mr. Mallory brings over 22 years of experience with the United States Air Force. His leadership experiences as a squadron commander, his expertise gained from service on the Headquarters USAF staff and with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His experiences as director of the Air Force Operations Center at the Pentagon and as director of communications technology for the Air Force Crisis Action Team during hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He holds degrees in computer science, and has experiences in programming, computer and network operations, mobile communications, telecommunications monitoring and analysis, and modeling and simulation.
	Mark Smith, Ph.D Associate Director Phone: 337-482-0637 Email:mxs2356@louisiana.edu Dr. Smith brings his educational credentials, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University and a doctorate from Washington University, and out-of-the-box thinking to address business, management, and strategy issues. He contributes his advanced expertise in supply chain management and critical infrastructure analysis to advance the Institute’s agenda.
	Mayra Silva Software Development Manager Phone:482.0639 Email: mayrasilva@louisiana.edu Mrs. Silva is responsible for the creation of cost proposals for new projects, general management of CBIT software projects and the overall project distribution among CBIT software developers and graduate assistants. She is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting the Web-Administrative Information Database (WebAID) for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
	Nick Ruiz Senior Software Architect Phone: 337-482-0629 Email: nruiz@louisiana.edu Mr. Ruiz coordinates projects with clients, design systems, and leads graduate students to develop Enterprise Systems for Commercial Clients in Java and ASP.net. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
	Jayasimha Katukuri Software Architect Phone:482.0649 Email: jay@louisiana.edu Mr. Katukuri has experience in research and development of data mining, text mining and natural language processing applications. He is currently leading the development of workforce simulator project. His responsibilities include design and development of software systems.
	Michael Venable Software Architect Phone:482.0614 Email:mvenable@louisiana.edu Michael received his master's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in 2005, where his areas of interest included computer virus detection and software design. He currently manages several software projects belonging to ULL, the Division of Administration and the Office of Mental Health. He received his B.S. and M.S. Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

She works to implement new features and designs for assigned projects. She previously worked at CBIT as an undergraduate student. She has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
	Andrea Aloisio Communications External Affairs Manager Phone: 337-482-0627 Email:ama8888@louisiana.edu Ms. Aloisio brings her experience in public relations, marketing, event management and business development to her position. She received her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is responsible for all outgoing communications, marketing and public relations efforts, and the website. She manages contact database management and business development follow-ups.
	Stephanie Denton Administration Operations/Facilities Director Phone: 337-482-0612 Email: sdenton@louisiana.edu Ms. Denton is responsible for all center budget development, supervision, and monitoring. She directs human resources, procurement, contracts and accounting functions. Ms. Denton also manages Abdalla Hall building operations including facility use, security, maintenance, construction, renovations, and tenant coordination.
	JoElla Burke Administration Administrative Assistant Phone: 337-482-0600 Email: jburke@louisiana.edu Ms. Burke assists with general office administration for both Centers as well as support day-to-day management of building and facilities. She also provides administrative support to the CBIT administrative and technical team. Ms. Burke has many years of administrative experience from her work in the public sector in her native Mississippi. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and Copiah Lincoln Community College.
